PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of convenient system for observing discharge plasma generated in a gas near the gas-liquid interface where gas and liquid are arranged while inverted vertically.SOLUTION: A device (100) generates discharge plasma in the gas near the gas-liquid interface formed by a liquid carried on an upper electrode and the gas introduced from a lower electrode, by holding a pair of upper and lower electrode structures, inserted from the opposite ends of a transparent cylindrical container, at an arbitrary interval, and allows for observation of the plasma thus generated from the lateral face of the cylindrical container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】気体と液体が上下反転して配置された気液界面を構成し、気液界面近傍の気体中で放電プラズマを生成して観測するための簡便な方式の装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明による装置(100)では、透明な円筒状容器の両端から挿入された上部及び下部の一対の電極構造を任意の間隔で保持することによって、上部電極上に担持された液体と下部電極から導入された気体が形成する気液界面近傍の気体中で放電プラズマを生成するとともに、生成されたプラズマを円筒状容器の側面から観測することを可能にする。【選択図】図1
