The device (D) has a tube including an end that is introduced into the spout of a bird i.e. duck (C) for reaching the esophagus passing between the tongue (L) and the palate (P) of the duck. The end of the tube includes a guide head (200) adopts an ogival shape with a tapered outer shaft coaxial with an axis of the tube for provision of outer bearing and guiding surfaces (210) between the tongue and the palate, where a lateral opening (220) is arranged upstream of the outer bearing and guiding surfaces.L'invention concerne un dispositif d'embuquage (D) pour gavage de volatile (C) comprenant un tube (T) dans lequel passe l'aliment de gavage et dont une extrémité vient s'introduire dans le bec dudit volatile (C) pour atteindre son oesophage en passant entre la langue (L) et le palais (P), remarquable en ce que ladite extrémité comprend une tête de guidage (200, 300, 400, 500) adoptant une forme extérieure effilée d'axe coaxial à l'axe du tube (T) à des fins de mise à disposition de surfaces extérieures d'appui et de guidage entre la langue (L) et le palais (P) et au moins une ouverture latérale disposée en amont desdites surfaces extérieures d'appui et de guidage.
