A method and apparatus for affixing a hoofblock to the hoof of an animal comprising, providing a hoofblock having a plurality of spacers disposed thereupon positioning, an animal hoof on the hoofblock where the spacers create a cavity between the animal hoof and the hoofblock. The method continues by injecting an adhesive into the cavity through one or more injection ports disposed within the hoofblock, and affixing the hoofblock to the hoof of the animal by allowing the adhesive to cure, thereby creating a bond between the hoofblock and the animal hoof.Linvention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de fixer un bloc de sabot au sabot dun animal, consistant à fournir un bloc de sabot ayant une pluralité dentretoises situées dessus positionner un sabot danimal sur le bloc de sabot où les entretoises créent une cavité entre le sabot danimal et le bloc de sabot.
