PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a subject to continuously measure his or her heartbeat in a daily movement, without causing him or her to take time and efforts for wearing a heartbeat meter and without causing him or her to feel troublesomeness while wearing it.SOLUTION: A heartbeat measuring system includes: an oral cavity electrode provided to a head part of a toothbrush where brush bristles are planted, the oral cavity electrode being brought into contact with a portion in the oral cavity of a subject a hand electrode provided to a grip part of the toothbrush, the hand electrode being brought into contact with a hand of the subject and a detection part for detecting a heartbeat of the subject.
