A control assembly comprising a signal receiver is configured to receive a signal from a glucose sensor. The control assembly is electrically connected to the alarm, activates the alarm if the signal received at the signal receiver indicates hypoglycemia, and the signal receiver receives the signal indicating hypoglycemia. The syringe is configured to cause the syringe to administer a dose of the drug through a needle after a predetermined time.
