Especially, the blood sugar inhibitory effect of the Saururus chinensis BAILL. is three to five times better than that of Acarbose taken as a blood sugar inhibitor. The Saururus chinensis BAILL. helps to treat and prevent diabetes.본 발명은 3가 크롬(Cr3+)을 0.00001~0.002mol/ℓ 농도로 첨가한 배양액으로 삼백초를 재배하여 삼백초 조직에 3가 크롬이 유기화되어 함유되게 함으로써 항당뇨 효과를 가짐에 따라 이를 복용하여 고혈당증 치료에 효과적이며, 특히 혈당억제제로 복용하는 Acarbose보다 혈당억제효과가 3~5배 더 우수한 것으로 당뇨병의 치료 및 예방에 도움을 주는 것이다.
