Pharmaceutical compositions, food compositions and meat source for preventing or treating obesity related disease comprising extract of Lycium chinense, Houttuynia cordata and Saururus chinensis as active ingredient
PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition and a food composition containing a Lycium chinense extract, a Houttuynia cordata extract, and a Saururus chinensis extract as active ingredients are provided to prevent or treat obesity-related diseases without side effects in human body and to be used as a health food and sauce for cooking meat. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity, hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, arteriosclerosis, or hyperlipidemia contains a Lycium chinense extract, a Houttuynia cordata extract, and a Saururus chinensis extract as active ingredients, which are mixed in a weight ratio of 3-1.5:1.5-0.5:1.5-0.5. The extracts are prepared using water, C1-C4 alcohols, and a mixture thereof. The Lycium chinense extract is prepared from Lycium chinense fruits. The Houttuynia cordata extract is prepared from Houttuynia cordata stems and leaves. The Saururus chinensis extract is prepard from Saururus chinensis stems and leaves.
