PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase structure which allows a user to use a space under a footboard of a staircase and cultivate a plant there without reducing a residence space.SOLUTION: A staircase structure K has a plant cultivation unit U that is stacked and arranged under a footboard FB so as to be pulled out. A riser KB may be transparent or translucent, and may have such a structure as to use light from a light source 4 of the plant unit U as footlight.
