The spreader has a storage container comprising a lower part that is closed with a base plate (5) having a metering opening (4). The opening is closed by a metering valve (6) that is arranged below the base plate in an adjustable manner. The valve is partially guided at the base plate by a friction bearing (12), where width of the opening is adjustable. A sealing ring (10) is arranged at a lower side of the base plate. The bearing has bearing surface elements (13) that are fastened to the base plate, where the elements are designed in a comb and/or finger-shape.
