PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine container plug body using a rubber material and a thermoplastic elastomer, which causes no elution of a rubber material component, has excellent sealability even after the extraction of a medical needle, and can hold a plate-like rubber member at an appropriate position in the plug body.SOLUTION: A medicine container plug body 1 includes a plate-like rubber member 4, and an upper formation part 2 and a lower formation part 3 for cooperatively encapsulating it. The lower formation part includes a bottom plate part 31 closely adhering to the undersurface of the plate-like rubber member 4, and a plurality of lower leg parts 32 extending from the peripheral edge part of the bottom plate part 31 in an upper formation part 2 direction, and the upper formation part includes an upper plate part 21 closely adhering to the top surface of the plate-like rubber member 4, and a plurality of upper leg parts 22 for filling the space between the leg parts of the lower formation part 3.
