The disclosure relates to a fungicidal composition comprising, as active ingredients, (a) 3-(2,3,4-trimethoxy-6-methylbenzoyl)-5-chloro-2-methoxy-4-methylpyridine (Pyriofenone, (5-chloro-2-methoxy-4-methyl-3-pyridinyl)2,3,4- trimethoxy-6-methylphenyl)methanone) or its salt and (b) at least one fungicide selected from the group consisting of bixafen, fluxapyroxad, penflufen, isopyrazam, fluopyram, ametoctradin, fenpyrazamine and sedaxane. In a particular embodiment the mixing weight ratio of (a) to (b) is from 1:5,000 to 5,000:1. Also disclosed is a method of controlling plant diseases by applying (in the examples by spray gun) the fungicidal composition to the plant.
