PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arterial blood vessel flexibility measuring apparatus for accurately measuring the arterial compliance of a living body.
SOLUTION: The arterial blood vessel flexibility measuring apparatus includes a non-pressed pressure pulse computing part P4-1 estimating non-pressed pressure pulses in the artery of a part not pressed by a pressure band 12, and a pressed pressure pulse computing part P4-2 estimating pressed pressure pulses in the artery of a part pressed by the pressure band 12. A blood vessel compliance computing part P9 can obtain an accurate blood vessel compliance K reflecting the relation of a volumetric change to the pressure change of the artery under a cuff because of obtaining the wall penetrating pressure of the artery under cuff pressure using the pressed pressure pulses by computing the flexibility (compliance K) of the arterial blood vessel such as the brachial artery 16 of the living body based on the volume pulse waves and the pressed pulse waves.
