Disclosed herein is a method for designing an organ for use in a body of a living being comprising identifying a fluid transport demand of an organ； where the fluid transport demand is the amount of fluid used by the organ to sustain itself and to sustain utility in other organs around it； and where the organ comprises a flow system comprising a network of vessels； determining a spatial density of zones of need in the organ based on a density of normal healthy tissues in the organ； identifying a nature of the flow system； and using constructal principle analysis to generate a design of the organ. Disclosed herein too is an organ manufactured by the aforementioned method.La présente invention concerne une méthode permettant de concevoir un organe devant être utilisé dans le corps d'un être vivant comprenant les étapes consistant à identifier une demande de transport de fluide d'un organe ； la demande de transport de fluide étant la quantité de fluide utilisée par l'organe pour se maintenir et maintenir son activité dans d'autres organes avoisinants ； et l'organe comprenant un système de flux pourvu d'un réseau de vaisseaux ； à déterminer une densité spatiale des zones de besoin dans l'organe en fonction d'une densité de tissus sains normaux dans l'organe ； à identifier la nature du système de flux ； et à utiliser une analyse de principe structurelle permettant de concevoir l'organe. La présente invention concerne également un organe fabriqué selon le procédé sus-mentionné.
