The present invention relates to an apparatus for growing a plant with LED comprising a controller controlling red LEDs and white LEDs installed in the ratio of 2:1 (red LED : white LED) and a growing device. The apparatus for growing a plant with LED comprises: a frame of the growing device including a fan in the top; a number of growing layers installed in the inside of the frame on the growing device; LED lamps installed in the upper part of the respective growing layers; a nutrient solution supply tank and a cooling water supply tank installed in the bottom of the frame of the growing device in a row and connected to a nutrient solution pump and a cooling water pump respectively to supply a nutrient solution and cooling water to the respective growing layers; UV lamps installed in the inside of the nutrient solution supply tank and cooling water supply tank; an oxygen generator installed in the inside of the nutrient solution supply tank; a carbon dioxide supply tank arranged apart from the frame of the growing device; and a controller and a thermohygrostat installed in the upper part of the frame of the growing device in a row. The light, temperature, humidity, supply of the nutrient solution and cooling water, oxygen and carbon dioxide, and UV sterilization are controlled respectively by connecting the LED lamps through an input terminal and an output terminal formed in the controller, and two or more thereof can be synchronized and controlled at the same time.
