An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus in accordance with one aspect of the disclosure includes: a table configured to mount at least one probe； a first sensor configured to detect a type information of the probe and a mounting state of the probe； a driver configured to generate a driving force for moving the table； a second sensor configured to detect a position of the table； and a controller configured to control the driver based on detection results of the first sensor and the second sensor.
