The present invention relates to a healthcare device for a vehicle, through which a driver can frequently check a health condition of the driver through self-diagnosis, and to a method thereof. The healthcare device comprises: a biosignal sensing unit sensing a biosignal of a driver by using multiple bio-information sensors installed in a driver seat of a vehicle and a device operated by the driver and an audio/video device analyzing the biosignal of the driver, obtained from the biosignal sensing unit, with a pre-installed diagnosis application to diagnose a health condition of the driver, and audiovisually expressing a diagnosis result so that the driver recognizes the result.
