PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool that surely latches a fishing line without damaging it.SOLUTION: A spool 10 includes a body 20 having a cylindrical barrel 21 and a flange 22F arranged at the end in the shaft direction of the barrel 21 and a fishing line L is wound on an outer peripheral surface 22a of the barrel 21. The spool 10 also includes a fishing line stop member 40 attached to the barrel 21. The flange 22 has formed therein a groove 29. The fishing line stop member 40 has a contact portion 47 to be brought into contact with a side 22c of the flange 22. In the spool 10, the chip of the fishing line L wound on the outer peripheral surface 22a is drawn out through the groove 29 to the outside and the fishing line L is made into a state in which the fishing line is caught by the groove 29 and stretched. In the state, the fishing line L drawn out is made to enter into a space between the side 22c of the flange 22F and the contact portion 47. Therefore, the fishing line L is nipped in the space and held to surely latch the fishing line L.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】釣糸を傷つけずに確実に係止することができるスプールを提供する。【解決手段】スプール10は、筒状の胴部21と胴部21の軸線方向の端部に設けられたフランジ部22Fとを有する本体20を具備し、胴部21の外周面22aに釣糸Lが巻回される。また、スプール10は、胴部20に取り付けられた糸止め部材40を備え、フランジ部22には、溝部29が形成されている。この糸止め部材40は、フランジ部22の側面22cに当接する当接部47を有している。スプール10では、外周面22aに巻回された釣糸Lの先端側を、溝部29内に通して外部に引き出すと共に、釣糸Lを溝部29に引っ掛けて張った状態とする。この状態で、引き出された釣糸Lをフランジ部22Fの側面22cと当接部47との間に進入させる。これにより、かかる間でもって釣糸Lが挟み込まれて掛止され、釣糸Lが確実に係止される。【選択図】図18
