PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap which is excellent in handleability and can be used regardless of the kind of an outer container and an inner container, and a separation container kit equipped with the cap.SOLUTION: A separation container kit for separating a material to be separated from a liquid sample comprises a separation container and two caps. The separation container includes a cylindrical inner container whose upper and lower ends are opened, and a bottom-closed cylindrical outer container whose upper end is opened and whose lower end is closed, and the inner container can be inserted inside the outer container. The cap includes a first fitting part to an upper end opening of the inner container, and a second fitting part to an upper end opening of the outer container. The first fitting part is fitted to the upper opening of the inner container to bring the inside of the inner container to a liquid-tight state, and the second fitting part is fitted to the upper end opening of the outer container to bring the inside of the outer container to a liquid-tight state. Preferably the cap further has a third fitting part to a cap with the same shape and a fitted part to which the cap with the same shape can be fitted. As a result, in the case that the caps are not used, the third fitting part of one cap is fitted to the fitted part of the other cap, whereby both caps can be connected to each other.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 外容器と内容器の種類にかかわらず使用可能であり、取り扱い性に優れるキャップ、それを備える分離容器キットを提供する。【解決手段】 液体試料から分離対象物を分離するための分離容器キットであり、分離容器および2つのキャップを含む。前記分離容器は、上端と下端が開口した筒状内容器と、上端が開口し下端が閉口した有底筒状の外容器を有し、外容器の内部に内容器を挿入可能である。キャップは、内容器の上端開口部に対する第1嵌合部、外容器の上端開口部に対する第2嵌合部を有し、第1嵌合部は、内容器の上端開口部に嵌合することで、内容器の内部を液密状態にでき、第2嵌合部は、外容器の上端開口部に嵌合することで、外容器の内部を液密状態にできる。キャップは、さらに同形状のキャップに対する第3嵌合部、同形状のキャップが嵌合可能な被嵌合部を有することが好ましい。これにより、各キャップを未使用の場合、一方のキャップの第3嵌合部を他方のキャップの被嵌合部に嵌合することで、両者を連結可能である【選択図】 図2
