PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-projecting probe for scanning endoscope with higher safety which is free from discontinuation of the sight and causes no fault during normal observation, and which does not cause continuous irradiation of a subject with concentrated illumination light when a fault occurs in the drive unit for displacing the illumination fiber.SOLUTION: An insertion part of an endoscope comprises: a cylindrical body 40 having an illumination lens at a tip end thereof an optical fiber 14 for projecting through the illumination lens and toward a site to be observed the illumination light emitted from a laser source an actuator 15 which oscillates together with the optical fiber 14 and drives the optical fiber 14 radially such that the illumination light projected from the optical fiber 14 scans the site to be observed and a resin 45 which is disposed relative to a longer direction of the optical fiber 14 between a face from which the illumination light in the illumination lens is projected and an end face from which the illumination light in the optical fiber 14 is projected, and which contains a colorless transparent pigment 44 which turns to black when exposed to a predetermined amount of light.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】故障のない通常の観察時に視界が途切れてしまうことがなく、照明ファイバを変位させる駆動部が故障した場合には照明光が集中して被写体に連続照射することがない、より安全性を高めた走査型内視鏡の光射出プローブを提供する。【解決手段】内視鏡の挿入部は、先端に照明レンズが設けられた筒状体40と、レーザ光源から発せられる照明光を照明レンズを介して観察対象部位に向けて射出する光ファイバ14と、光ファイバ14と共に振動し、光ファイバ14により射出される照明光が観察対象部位で走査するよう、光ファイバ14を径方向に駆動するアクチュエータ15と、光ファイバ14の長手方向を基準に、照明レンズにおける照明光を射出する面と、光ファイバ14における照明光を射出する端面との間に設けられ、無色透明で所定の光量の光を照射すると黒色に変色する顔料44を含む樹脂45と、を有する。【選択図】図2
