PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooked rice with assorted ingredients such as sushi rice excellent in appropriate unravelling properties, having good taste with aging phenomenon being suppressed.SOLUTION: A rice cooking apparatus includes transport means such as a conveyor which transports rice immersed in water, a steaming device which steams rice on a conveyor with high-temperature steam, and a water spraying device which feeds hot water to the rice on the conveyor in the steaming device.
