PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffuser which is produced easily at low cost and used for efficiently shining a light beam such as a laser beam on a wide area of an organism tissue uniformly, and to provide a light-diffusing device including the light diffuser.SOLUTION: The light diffuser having a coil form is attached to the light beam exit end of an optical fiber and used for diffusing the light beam exiting from the optical fiber in other directions than the light beam exiting direction so as to shine the light to an organism tissue. The light diffuser is produced by coiling a wire into a cylindrical shape. The wire is made of metal at least the surface of which reflects light. The light diffuser includes a portion for attaching the light diffuser to the optical fiber and a portion for diffusing the light beam exiting from the optical fiber.
