The invention relates to a shaker with variable geometry for cereal harvesting machines, comprising a number of trough-shaped straw walkers () arranged on two axles (), made of sheet metal, having the side walls provided with retaining elements () for entraining the pile in the discharge direction, the said walkers () having three functional zones, namely: a supply zone, a separation zone and a discharge zone and also exhibiting a number of cascades () and a number of sieves () made of perforated sheet metal and having the shape and size in accordance with the functional zones of the walkers (), the cascades () being inclined as related to the sieves (). In the walker separation zone, the cascades () are parallel with the active part of the retaining elements () and make with the sieves () an angle () the values whereof are higher than 90°, which determines the motion of the pile with a constant speed and the reduction of shaking losses.Invenţia se referă la un scuturător cu geometrie zonală pentru combine de recoltat cereale, alcătuit dintr-un număr de cai () dispuşi pe două axe (), confecţionaţi din tablă şi având o formă de jgheab, cu pereţii laterali prevăzuţi cu elemente de reţinere (), pentru antrenarea vrafului în sensul evacuării din combină, caii () având trei zone funcţionale, şi anume: de alimentare, de separare şi de evacuare, şi prezintă un număr de cascade () şi un număr de site () confecţionate din tablă perforată, de mărime şi formă caracteristice zonelor funcţionale ale cailor (), cascadele () fiind dispuse înclinat în raport cu sitele (). În zona de separare a cailor, cascadele () sunt paralele cu partea activă a elementelor de reţinere () şi fac cu sitele () un unghi () cu valori mai mari de 90°, ceea ce determină o deplasare a vrafului cu o viteză constantă, şi o diminuare a pierderilor la scuturare.
