PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coated composition which has excellent sustained releasability of a bioactive constituent.SOLUTION: The method for producing a coated composition in which a powdered material containing a bioactive constituent is coated with a thermosetting resin includes a step of, in a mixing machine which has a tank and an impeller for mixing rotating along the bottom face of the tank, and in which the minimum interval between the bottom face of the tank and the impeller is ≥100 μm, mixing the powdered material and the raw material for a thermosetting resin.
