PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure capable of attaching a partition plate to a cooling target such as a containment vessel at low cost while increasing the strength of the cooling target.SOLUTION: Provided is a cooling structure comprising: a cooling target； a building structure covering the cooling target at a clearance given therebetween and having an intake port and an exhaust port for cooling air formed therein； and a partition plate partitioning the clearance, for forming a first channel in which the cooling air flowing from the intake port flows down is formed in a building structure-side space and forming a second channel in which the cooling air flowing in the first channel flows upward toward the exhaust port is formed in a cooling target-side space.
