PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification apparatus capable of easily and accurately detecting the completion of the blood removal.
SOLUTION: This blood purification apparatus is provided with: a computing means 9 that simultaneously introduces patients blood from both of the tip of an artery-side blood circuit 1 and the tip of a vein-side blood circuit 2 to a dialyzer to replace it with priming liquid with the blood circuit and a blood pathway of the dialyzer 3 filled with priming liquid in a priming liquid filling process, performs the blood removal process for filtering the replaced liquid through a blood purification membrane of the dialyzer to the dialysis solution pathway side, and finds an ultrafiltration rate or a transmembrane pressure difference of the blood purification membrane in the dialyzer 3 with time in the blood removal process and a monitoring means 10 that monitors a change rate of the transmembrane pressure difference or the ultrafiltration rate found with time by the computing means 9, detects that the change rate of the transmembrane pressure difference or the ultrafiltration rate becomes larger than a prescribed value and detects the completion of the blood removal process.
