PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification apparatus capable of previously obtaining a time required for blood removal and previously selecting an appropriate blood removal process for each patient.
SOLUTION: This blood purification apparatus is provided with: a computing means 9 that simultaneously introduces patients blood from both of the tip of an artery-side blood circuit 1 and the tip of a vein-side blood circuit 2 to a dialyzer 3 to replace it with priming liquid in a process to be performed sequentially from a priming liquid filling process and computes a time required for the blood removal process for filtering the replaced liquid through a blood purification membrane of the dialyzer 3 to the dialysis solution pathway side, wherein the computing means 9 acquires the time required for the blood removal process based on an ultrafiltration rate and an envisioned maximum transmembrane pressure difference of the blood purification membrane when filtering the priming liquid in the blood pathway of the dialyzer 3 to the dialysis solution pathway side.
