The light wavelength conversion element has a greater thickness at the edge of the surface region, provided with phosphor, of the substrate than at the surface centroid of the surface region, provided with phosphor, of the substrate. The thickness is respectively measured perpendicularly to the surface region, provided with phosphor, of the substrate.
