PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for greening a wall surface and wall surface-greening construction method, capable of efficiently greening the wall surface of a civil engineering structure such as an outer wall or a retaining wall of a building. SOLUTION: The structure for greening the wall surface is composed of a structure 1 mainly composed of concrete, a greening-promoting panel 2 attached to the surface part of the structure 1 and a planting base material 7 attached to the greening-promoting panel 2. The greening-promoting panel 2 is formed by superposing a plurality of lath wire nets 4 formed in uneven state in which protruded parts and recessed parts are alternately adjacent.
