A modular humeral implant for an inverted shoulder prosthesis, comprising: - a humeral shank having, on the one hand, a diaphyseal stem of elongate shape extending along a diaphyseal axis and configured to be engaged in a medullary cavity of a humerus, and, on the other hand, a metaphyseal part； - a humeral spacer (3) mounted on the metaphyseal part of the humeral shank and having a lower face (30) directed towards the metaphyseal part, said lower face having a peripheral portion laterally extending beyond the metaphyseal part and covered at least partially by a porous or rough metallic surface coating (37) promoting osseointegration； and - a humeral insert fixed on the humeral spacer and having a hemispherical cap configured to receive a glenosphere of a glenoid implant.
