PURPOSE: A mastic aqueous dispersion and a producing method thereof are provided to uniformly disperse mastic in water by adding an organic solvent and the water to the mastic, and selectively remove an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a mastic aqueous dispersion comprises the following steps: adding mastic into an organic solvent having the boiling point of 30-90 deg C to obtain a mastic organic solvent； adding water into the mastic organic solvent to obtain a mastic mixed solution； heating the mastic mixed solution at 50-95 deg C for distilling the organic solvent in the mastic mixed solution, and for obtaining the mastic aqueous dispersion； and re-circulating the distilled organic solvent after cooling.본 발명은 매스틱이 물에 분산되어 이루어진 매스틱 수분산액 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 동적 광산란법에 의한 평균입자직경이 0.1 내지 50㎚인 매스틱이 분산되어 있고, 유기용매가 0.03 중량% 미만으로 함유되어 있는 매스틱 수분산액에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 매스틱 수분산액은 매스틱이 물에 균일하게 분산되어 있어, 적은 양으로도 구강, 위장 등의 질환을 예방 또는 치료하는 제품에 용이하게 활용될 수 있다.
