PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress involuntary movements mixed in when a tremor patient makes voluntary movements.SOLUTION: A tremor suppression system 10 includes a brace 11 mounted on a user H and a control device 12 which controls movements of the brace 11. The brace 11 is equipped with an arm 14 movable in a direction of movements of a body region, a motor 15 for moving the arm 14, and a myoelectric potential sensor 17 for acquiring a myoelectric potential at the movements of the body region. The arm 14 moves the body region only in a direction of voluntary movements by the driving of the motor 15 and is fixed in a manner to regulate the movements of the body region when the motor 15 stops. The control device 12 includes a database 28 in which data to determine presence or absence of the voluntary movements is stored, a movement estimating means 29 which estimates the presence or absence of the voluntary movements in measuring the myoelectric potential based on the data, and a command means 30 for commanding the motor 15 to activate in accordance with the estimation.
