Plant extracts, compositions, pharmaceutical compositions and methods of making and using the same are provided herein. The compositions comprise γ~ tocotrienol (GT3) and δ -tocotrienol (DT3) in ratios wherein the DT3 is predominate. The compositions are useful for radioprotection and radiomitigation in subjects in need thereof.En la presente memoria se proporcionan extractos vegetales, composiciones, composiciones farmacéuticas y métodos de producción de las mismas. Las composiciones comprenden ?-tocotrienol (GT3) y d -tocotrienol (DT3) en relaciones en las que predomina DT3. Las composiciones son útiles para la radioprevención y la radiomitigación en sujetos que necesitan las mismas.
