In the manufacture of absorbent articles having flap portions, efficiency of manufacture is improved while conveying members and semi-finished products of the absorbent articles such that the direction that becomes the width direction of the absorbent article is the conveyance direction. The method is for manufacturing absorbent articles provided having a main body and flaps (2b, 2b) extending to both sides of the main body.
