PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe hypolipidemic agent considering that lipid metabolism abnormality, which is a main symptom among metabolic syndrome having constituted a public problem, causes hyperlipidemia, fatty liver, arteriosclerotic diseases and the like.
SOLUTION: An effective material for medical treatments and for foods for specific health care is obtained as the highly safe hypolipidemic agent by batching-off of a dipeptide having a specific amino acid sequence of Ser-Tyr, Val-Lys or Lys-Ala as a sequence in a soybean protein from a decomposate of the soybean protein or by a dipeptide synthesis.
