An automatic pill picking method includes the step of: starting a first driving mechanism to rotate a picking arm to a original position； starting a second driving mechanism to rotate a rotating tray to rotate a waiting medicine storage to a pill picking position； rotating the picking arm to a suction nozzle located on the picking arm to stretch into the waiting medicine storage； starting the pump connected to the suction nozzle to generate a negative pressure so that the suction nozzle is capable of sucking up a medicine； and judging whether a pressure value located in a tube connected to the pump and the suction nozzle is smaller than a predetermined pressure, when the pressure value is smaller than the predetermined pressure, and the suction nozzle sucks up the medicine； rotating the picking arm to the original position. The present invention also discloses an automatic pill picking device.一種自動取藥方法，所述自動取藥方法包括：啟動一第一驅動機構以轉動一取藥臂至一初始位置；啟動一第二驅動機構以轉動一轉盤將一待取儲藥倉轉至一取藥位置；轉動所述取藥臂使所述取藥臂之吸嘴伸入所述待取儲藥倉內；啟動連接該吸嘴之氣壓產生器使吸嘴產生負壓吸取藥丸；及判斷連接所述氣壓產生器與所述吸嘴之氣管內之氣壓值是否小於預設氣壓值，當所述氣壓值小於所述預設氣壓值時，吸嘴吸到藥丸；轉動所述取藥臂至所述初始位置。本發明進一步揭露一種自動取藥裝置。
