PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing bird eggs from hatching, having high propagation-prevention effects, while being a simple method, and which will not adversely affect the surrounding environments, and to provide a device thereof.SOLUTION: The device for preventing the eggs of the birds from hatching is equipped with granular dry ice 6, a rubber balloon 5 sealing the dry ice 6, a rod 4 for moving the rubber balloon 5 to a nest 2 of Phalacrocorax carbo, and a metal needle 9 for rupturing the rubber balloon 5, by sticking the needle on the expanded rubber balloon 5.
