PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller instrument which can be surely abutted to a treating part more easily than before, and to provide a using kit of the roller instrument.SOLUTION: The roller instrument 1 with a sensor includes a holder part 3, a roller part 4, a light emitting diode (11), photosensor parts (12A, 12B), and a reporting part 5. The roller part 4 is freely rotatably supported by the holder part 3 and at least its partial area is configured as translucent areas 4A, 4C and 4E with translucency. The light emitting diode (11) is provided inside the translucent area 4C, and emits light from the surface of the area. The photosensor parts (12A, 12B) are provided inside the translucent areas 4A and 4E and receive the light made incident from the surface of the areas.
