Устройство содержит заградитель, выполненный в виде короба 1 из мелкоячеистой сетки. Заградитель смонтирован на лицевой стороне улья 2 или ее части. Заградитель охватывает прилетный порожек 5, леток 4 и лицевую сторону углов улья 2 и закрывает нижнюю и тыльную плоскости короба 1 под порожком.
