PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double bearing reel comprising a movable hook keeper to which a sinker can be engaged in addition to a fish hook.SOLUTION: A double bearing reel 200 for fishing comprises: a reel body 210； a spool 230 which is supported to the reel body 210 and to which a fishing line is wound； a drive shaft which is rotatably supported to the reel body 210 and forms a winding mechanism for winding the fishing line to the spool 230； a handle 220 which has a fitting part 221 fitted to one end of the drive shaft for rotating the drive shaft； and a hook keeper 1 which has an engagement part and a support part. The engagement part of the hook keeper 1 comprises a hole penetrating the engagement part, and a slit penetrating from the hole to an external face of the engagement part, and reaching from one end face of the engagement part in a center axis direction of the hole to the other end face.
