PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel that can restrain a spool shaft from rattling in a radial direction and improve sliding feeling.SOLUTION: A spinning reel comprises a reel body, a spool shaft 4, a pinion gear 7, a bush 8, and a bearing 9. The spool shaft 4 is supported by the reel body so as to be movable in a front-back direction. The pinion gear 7 has a cylindrical shape, and the spool shaft 4 penetrates therein. The bush 8 is fixed to the reel body by press fitting. The bush 8 comprises a support part 8a supporting the spool shaft 4, and a bearing housing part 8b having a larger diameter than an inner diameter of the support part 8a.
