PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber treatment agent and method that can, by suppressing the settling resulting from the aggregation of the fiber treatment agent, impart long-term antimicrobial and antifungal properties to fibers while efficiently adhering to the fibers.SOLUTION: The fiber treatment agent contains a polymer and triclosan dispersed in the polymer.
