The veil (1) has a longitudinal central line (A) extending in the longitudinal direction thereof, and a first extension in the longitudinal direction, between a front end (2) and a rear end (3) of the veil (1), and a second extension in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal central line (A), and the veil comprises a front edge (4) and first and second side edges (6a, 6b), and a main portion (7) having a length (LI) in the longitudinal direction of the veil, the veil (1) has a total longitudinal length L2. The length LI of the main portion (7) is at least 50% of the total longitudinal length (L2) of the veil (1). The main portion (7) is bounded by a straight front transversal line (5) between front transition points (T1a, T1b) and the first and second side edges (6a, 6b), and tapers towards the rear end (3) of the veil.
