PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an inorganic composite powder suppressed in luster and to provide an inorganic composite powder.SOLUTION: There are provided: [1] a method for producing an inorganic composite powder by growing silica on an inorganic powder which comprises the following steps 1 and 2 and [2] an inorganic composite powder obtained by the production method.
