PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical instrument wherein the pressure-repulsive force and flexibility of its spring part can be easily adjusted for better operability.SOLUTION: This surgical instrument 10 comprises: a functional part 11 to hold or cut an object an operating part 13 which allows a user to operate the functional part 11 by applying a force and a spring part 14 consisting of a pair of elastic plate-like members for energizing the operating part 13 in the direction to which the functional part 11 opens.
