PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surgical forceps being operable under a safe load without applying excessive holding force in an operation for executing a surgical operation while holding a sensitive object such as a skin, blood vessel, muscle, and organ of a patient.SOLUTION: The forceps comprise: a pressure-sensitive sensor element engaged with a proximal end of a drive shaft that is fitted rotatably in an insertion tube and has a holding blade at a distal end a sensor pressing member fitted to a second handle member to slidingly move in parallel with the drive shaft in conjunction with the handle operation to press a surface part of the pressure-sensitive sensor element and the drive shaft slidingly moving in the insertion tube in the cross direction to open/close the holding blade at the distal end. The forceps measure changes in an electric resistance value of the pressure-sensitive sensor, and causes a control device to issue an alarm signal to appropriately control the holding force.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】患者の皮膚、血管、筋肉、臓器などの傷つきやすい対象物を把持して外科手術等を行う操作において、過剰な把持力を与えずに安全な負荷のもとで操作が可能な外科手術用鉗子を提供する。
