PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block copolymer that forms micell in water or buffers at the transition temperature or lower and aggregates or undergoes a phase transition at the transition temperature or above by using, as the hydrophobic portion, a depsipeptide structure including temperature-responsive sequences and by using, as the hydrophilic portion, a hydrophilic polymer structure and to provide a composition that has the excellent ability to form micell in aqueous solvents and exhibits a phase transition by heating.SOLUTION: The block copolymer has the portion of a hydrophilic polymer structure and the portion of a depsipeptide structure including temperature-responsive sequences.
