PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for keratin fiber such as hair, which is preferably a composition for make-up, which can be used for deforming or re-forming the keratin fiber, can provide the keratin fiber with sufficient re-forming efficiency, which is high wave strength, distinct wave depth, and satisfactory curl regularity for example, and can reduce damage to the keratin fiber, and bring about excellent hair conditioning effect which is satisfactory elasticity of the keratin fiber for example.SOLUTION: A composition for keratin fiber such as hair contains (a) at least one kind of reducing agent, and (b) at least one kind of fatty substance, in which the amount of the fatty substance in the composition is less than 0.04 mass% with respect to the total mass of the composition.
