The containment and reactor pressure vessel joint cooling system comprises the containment cooling system and a reactor pressure vessel cooling system. The cooling system does not need to be provided external power, and can provide long-term effective cooling for a containment and reactor pressure vessel at the same time in the case of an accident, thereby ensuring that when an accident occurs, under the condition of having no human intervention and the input of other external cooling measures, a reactor containment and a pressure vessel are always in a safe state.
