The algorithm includes or accesses trained artificial neural network. A physiological property of the examination object is detected during free breathing of the examination object. The feature characterizing intentional breath-holding by the examination object is determined by the computer, by executing the algorithm with the detected physiological property of the examination object, as an input to the algorithm.
