The present invention relates to a molding roller of a pill manufacturing machine which manufactures spherical shaped pills or food using a molding process, and more particularly, to a molding roller for improving installation of the molding roller that molds a paste discharged from a paste extruding device hopper into a pill. The molding roller comprises a hopper having a pill material poured therein a paste extruding device configured to extrude the pill material supplied from the hopper into a paste noodle shape a pair of molding rollers configured to cut the paste supplied from the paste extruding device while being rotated in directions opposite to each other and simultaneously roll the paste which is cut while being reciprocated in an axial direction to form a pill.
